At PetStay over the past couple of years we have received more and more enquires from prospective couples wanting their dog to be a part of their special day. The problem is if all of their friends and family are attending the wedding, who is there to look after the dog?

Seeing a gap in the market, PetStay created Walkies Down The Aisle. With an exclusive Chaperone service, whether our customers would like Rex/Roxie to be Best Man/Bridesmaid, Ring Bearer, or a part of the photographs – Walkies Down the Aisle with PetStay can make it happen!
We looked at possible areas and York stood out, not only as one of the UK’s most popular Wedding destinations but knowing the enormity of such a launch, the closeness in proximity to PetStay HQ being in Hull, meant it was the ideal location.

It was inevitable that this was proposed to Tracy Linfoot owner of PetStay York. Tracy herself is an expert in the Canine field, first coming to PetStay York as a Dog Carer in 2010, then in the last 5 years becoming owner and manager of the branch. Tracy runs a very successful branch and was extremely keen to come on board with her wealth of knowledge of the local area and of our canine companions. Adding to this that by sheer luck PetStay HQ also has two members of staff who are former Wedding Co-ordinators, we knew we also had our ideal team!
