Alex will go head to head with another four impressive female business owners to see who will be crowned 2016’s Female Franchisee of the Year. One thing’s for certain, each and every one of the finalists are already winners!
“We’re so proud of Alex and all of her achievements! Being shortlisted as a bfa finalist is amazing recognition for what is, quite frankly, her relentless drive and ambition. The bfa franchisee of the year awards are the UK’s biggest and most prestigious awards for our industry so in our eyes, Alex is right where she belongs!” says Tim Morris, UK Country Manager
The coveted bfa Franchisee of the Year awards are the highest industry accolade any franchisee can achieve. A panel of specialist judges oversee hundreds of entries from businesses spanning all industries and sectors. Finalists are the very crème of the cop. Franchisees who demonstrate consistent, exceptional performance and whose passion and determination to succeed set them apart from the crowd.
With growth of 595% since day one, as the top performing UK franchisee and ranked second globally, Alex certainly ticks all those boxes! Alex and her five staff have helped over 2000 children to date and provided work for more than 380 tutors. Her work within Tutor Doctor as a member of the National Advisory Council and Mentor Programme means she is a beloved and admired by her colleagues in the network too.
“Alex is one of those rare people who isn’t just driven to be successful, she’s genuinely passionate about helping others to succeed. From the children and families that her Tutor Doctor business helps every single day, to her fellow franchisees and the hundreds of tutors she provides work for. A very inspirational lady indeed!” adds Frank Milner, Tutor Doctor President
Winners will be announced at a lavish black tie dinner followed by an evening ceremony taking place in October.
“I was so proud to even be put forward for the award so to be a finalist is a dream! Our founder said, ‘it’s one thing to make a dollar, but another to make a difference’. Here at Tutor Doctor, I’m happy to say we do both. This shortlisting is the icing on the cake to what have been an amazing few years!” Alex Scotchbrook, Tutor Doctor franchisee
