With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, love is definitely in the air and everywhere we turn, we are surrounded by red-colored trinkets and tokens of love— case in point: red velvet desserts at CREAM.
CREAM, the Bay Area-based dessert franchise known for its delectable ice cream sandwiches and various chilled treats, has chosen to embrace this tradition, unveiling its new red velvet flavor just in time for the sweetest day of the year.
“Red velvet has been wildly popular in recent years, therefore we are extremely excited to introduce it to our menu,” said COO Jim Ryan. “Most of our patrons are adventurous, and I’m sure the addition of red velvet would make for some pretty interesting and delicious variations that they will absolutely love.”
CREAM, which is an acronym for “Cookies Rule Everything Around Me,” offers a menu of 20 ice cream flavors and 20 cookie flavors and as many as 24 topping that customers can mix and match, as well as vegan and gluten-free options. While the ice cream sandwiches are the main draw, CREAM also has milkshakes, floats, malts, scoops of ice cream and other baked goods, such as “The Cream Taco,” a taco-shaped waffle cone.
The limited-time offerings include a red velvet cookie with white chocolate chips, red velvet waffle cones and red velvet taco shells.
The newest additions will be available at all nine CREAM stores beginning February 9th.
