House of Colour Launches Second Franchising Phase

The House of Colour, the UK’s premier personal stylists and colour analysis experts, has announced they are launching their second franchise development phase to sign up a further 100 franchises across the UK by end of 2018.

Established in 1985, House of Colour was bought from the original founders by a group of four ambitious stylists in 2008 who continue to develop the business, but the second franchise phase is their most ambitious development yet.

With 96 franchisees across the regions throughout the UK already, House of Colour offers attractive and lucrative franchise opportunities to business men and women nationwide. Franchises cost £8225+VAT and a monthly service fee of £45+VAT to purchase a designated exclusive region with a population of at least 90k people.

Helen Venables, Managing Director of House of Colour says: “What we are looking for are motivated, personable business people who would like to support and inspire their clients to greater success in their lives. If you are business-minded with a passion to help people live their lives to the full, this franchise opportunity means you could help build the confidence of your clients and can recoup your minimal investment within months!

Claire Bannister, Franchisee of the Brentwood/ Upminster branch says: “The support and training I have received have been second to none. What I really love is to give my clients that lightbulb moment and to enable them to see themselves in a new light and to dress with confidence!”

House of Colour’s comprehensive training programme and support services are designed to help franchisees quickly become experts in this growth market. The potentially high income business model also has several lucrative streams of income from colour analysis, styling, make up classes and over 250 make up products.

The House of Colour franchise has a flexible start-up programme which enables stylists to start in their home or take a small shop, work in a beauty salon, health club or in a large department store.

The stylists go through the most rigorous professional training in the industry and House of Colour has been awarded the Gold Standard by Investors in People who commended in particular their commitment, and their encouragement of the personal development and training of individuals. The training includes colour analysis, the language of clothes, the psychology of styling, dressing for the occasion, why image is still important, budgeting, capsule wardrobe, yin and yang personalities, the history of dressing and much more.

Venables says of the franchise plans: “We are delighted to have signed up five new franchisees lately in Amersham, London: SE10/SE3/E14, Hammersmith, Sheffield, Winchester and Andover, but have a number of new franchise opportunities from Blackpool to Liverpool and Wimbledon to Nottingham. We would be delighted to hear from anyone who is interested in building a franchise that creates wow moments for others! What could be better than giving someone self-confidence and the assurance of always knowing they look their best?”
