Iconic Japanese restaurant chain YO! Sushi has launched a brand new restaurant at Heathrow Terminal 2: The Queen’s Terminal.
The new 2000 square foot restaurant has been designed with travellers in mind, with emphasis placed on different zones including a circular takeaway counter along with quirky circular orange and wooden seating pods which are an innovative seating option never seen before in any YO! Sushi restaurant. The space will further be defined with the formation of giant ‘mushroom’ ceiling features, backed onto mirrors to enhance the feeling of great space along with mirror ball pendants hanging from the ceiling and vertical fluorescent tubes hanging in the centre.
For the first time ever at YO! Sushi, airline passengers will be able to pre-order their food online before they arrive, ensuring their takeaway order will be ready to pick up in-store as soon as they come through the security. Travellers in a hurry can also enjoy our ‘Plane Japanese Food’ options picking up one of our two delicious, great value sushi meal sets; Well-being or Indulgence (£15 and £17 respectively). Both sets are perfect to enjoy on your flight and comes complete with a cool bag for easy transport.
Serving up more than 80 different dishes, dine-in travellers will be able to instantly graze from YO! Sushi’s signature ‘kaiten’ conveyor belt and choose from a range of Japanese inspired items including delicious hot food such as soups, rice, noodle-based dishes or cold items like the famous YO! Roll, Sesame Seared Salmon Sashimi or Kaiso Salad and hot classics like best-sellers Chicken Katsu Curry, Salmon Firecracker Rice and Yakisoba noodles. Hot food orders can be taken from our team of ninjas using high tech tablets to place the order directly with the kitchen for extra speed.
A new ‘Big YO! Breakfast’ menu will be available all day offering a delicious selection of hot and cold Japanese pancakes (including our famous Pork Sausage, Egg and Cheese option), porridge, muesli and fruit with prices ranging from £2.50 to £6.00. The restaurant will also showcase an exclusive £6 Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Tartar dish from the belt and travellers can also indulge in our premium £6 yellow plates including favourites such as Beef & Garlic Teriyaki, Scallop Katsu and Tuna & Avruga Sashimi.
Heathrow T2 will be an international hub connecting an eclectic mix of travellers with their destination – so to ensure that new diners at YO! Sushi understand the unique dining experience they’ll find the four step YO! Sushi guide to dining, printed in English and Chinese along with the widely used China UnionPay credit card being accepted at this particular restaurant.
