Leading pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has announced its latest opening in York. Ex-army major, Dan Wilkinson, who also runs seven other Papa John’s, now takes on 20 local employees to serve up the Company’s renown, top quality pizza to the people of York.
“With a population of 200,000 and more than 15,000 students, York was one of the biggest cities in the UK which was missing a Papa John’s,” confirms Dan Wilkinson. “We have now captured a superb location west of the river and with a good marketing plan backed by Papa John’s TV advertising, York has real potential.
“The current Papa John’s franchisee incentive deal has been instrumental in our campaign,” continues Dan. “This is how we’ve marched to open up so many stores so quickly; we were able take advantage of deals on equipment, help with marketing and discounted fees all designed to help in the early stages of set up.
“However, the action doesn’t end here,” explains Dan. “Our target is to expand and open at least 20 outlets in the North of England over the next few years!”
Papa John’s is currently running an incentive scheme to help franchisees in the early stages of growing their businesses which includes discounted royalty fees, contribution towards marketing spend plus free equipment for new stores opening our the enterprise development zones of the Midlands, Wales, The North West, North East and Scotland. These great deals are all on the table for franchises opening in 2015, so first come first served!
