New insurance service for franchises launched

An award-winning insurance broking, financial management and health & safety group, has launched a specialist risk management service for UK franchises.

Thomas Carroll Group plc, recently named UK Broker of the Decade, has formed the new division to provide the franchise sector with a ‘one-stop-shop’ approach to their insurance, risk management and financial management needs.

The franchise division, named Thomas Carroll Special Risks, is headed by Director Marian Evans.

A Chartered Insurance Broker, Marian Evans said: “Our new service has been built on our existing work in the national franchise sector and our standing as an independent broker and adviser. Our family of risk management solutions are designed to protect and make life easier for franchisers and franchisees alike”.

The new service encompasses Chartered commercial and personal insurance, health & safety, independent financial advice, employee benefits and auto enrolment solutions.

Thomas Carroll also operates an in-house claims team, enabling insurance claims to be managed from a single contact point.

Commenting on the new division, Simon Ford, UK Operations Director of Thomas Carroll client, Rainbow International Ltd said: “This one-stop-shop scheme approach to risk management has certainly worked for us as a franchise. To date we have saved Rainbow International franchisees an average of 26 per cent on their previous premiums. Our scheme has driven cover improvements across the board and improved claims management procedures which has led to an increase in overall business performance.”
