Dunkin Donuts opens on Baker Street

Dunkin’ Donuts, the all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, today announced that it will open a new express restaurant at 191 Baker Street, London on 5th August. To celebrate the grand opening, the London-based franchisee will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and promotional activities at the store. In addition, the restaurant will also offer a convenient delivery service to nearby locations – perfect of meetings or business functions!

The new express restaurant will be fully owned by a local franchisee group and will be open from 7am to 10pm Monday – Friday and 9am to 9pm on Sundays. The restaurant will have comfortable outdoor seating and will provide a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts’ food and beverages in a friendly and fun atmosphere. As the new restaurant in central London is an Express outlet, the store will simply offer Dunkin’ Donuts’ internationally recognised coffee and donuts rather than an extensive menu.

“Dunkin’ Donuts is one of the world’s leading brands, and it has also become a favorite in the UK” said Ketan Patel, DDMG Ltd. “We are proud to serve the people of London and hope to become a popular destination for guests.”

DDMG Ltd currently operates three other Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the UK including stores in Harrow, St Albans and Wood Green. Dunkin’ Donuts opened its first restaurant in the UK in Harrow in 2013 and there are currently eight Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the UK in the following locations: Baker Street, Harrow, Chelmsford, Hounslow, Cambridge, St Albans, Woolwich and Wood Green.

Dunkin’ Donuts is America’s favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, selling more than 1.8 billion cups of hot and iced coffee and espresso-based beverages, and approximately 2.8 billion donuts and MUNCHKINS® donut hole treats combined globally per year. Today, there are more than 11,300 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants worldwide – more than 8,000 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in 41 states in the U.S. plus the District of Columbia, and more than 3,200 international restaurants in 36 countries.
