Cafe2U’s Jay reaches finals of EWIF Awards

The operations support manager of mobile coffee franchise Cafe2U, Jay Rosindale, has recently been announced as a finalist in the 2015 NatWest EWIF Awards, in the category of Franchisor Employee of the Year.

Jay (27), who joined the company at the age of 23, has worked her way up from office junior to her position today as operations support manager, supporting the company’s 60+ franchisees at every stage of their business, from organising their training weeks and merchandising their new vans, through to dealing with their day to day problems and queries. She recently organised the company’s national conference, attended by 50+ delegates and their partners from across the UK, which featured an unprompted standing ovation and ‘toast to Jay’ from franchisees during the evening awards ceremony.

Commenting on reaching the finals of the awards, Jay said,

‘I’m absolutely delighted to hear that I’ve made the finals of the EWIF awards. To be honest I’m more used to entering the company into awards, not being nominated myself! I think I have the best job in the world; our franchisees are just great; I love talking to them all on a regular basis and think of them as friends as much as colleagues. I’m also really lucky to work with such a great bunch of people here at the office in Leeds; Tom has been so supportive, encouraging me to take my NVQ’s in Business Administration and Management and knowing he entered me for this award means a great deal too.’

Managing director Tom Acland said, ‘Jay is a superb employee and thoroughly deserving of reaching the finals of the EWIF awards. She has taken on new responsibilities and learned so much in her four years with us and, win or not, she will always be a winner to us.’

The finals of the EWIF awards will be held in London on Tuesday 12 May 2015.
