Ovenu West Yorkshire is gearing up for a strong performance in 2017, buoyed by a rise in online activity.
The leading oven valeting firm, which grew by 25% in 2015, is expecting similar growth for 2016, thanks to a rise in bookings throughout the festive period, despite the sale of one of its areas.
The firm, which serves Bradford, Huddersfield, Leeds and Wakefield, sold its Halifax operation earlier in the year, but has continued to consolidate its position in the market, with 66% of its core activity coming from repeat business and recommendations.
Ovenu West Yorkshire specialises in the valeting of luxury ovens, including AGA Ranges, as well as traditional ovens, and has seen a rise in the number of online bookings.
Richard Greenwood, owner of Ovenu West Yorkshire, is now looking to build on this positivity and potentially add to his team of six full-time sub-contractors in the New Year.
Mr Greenwood said: “It has been another strong year for Ovenu West Yorkshire and particularly at this time of year when people are preparing for Christmas and the holiday season. The company still has a vast geographical reach and the support of retained customers and recommendations has contributed massively to the healthy forecasts for the year.
“There is no question that online sales and the power of social media has strengthened our position, and I am predicting an almost complete shift from the conventional telephone and email booking to online within the next couple of years. I am continuing to grow and am always on the look-out to improve my team further, given the healthy state of the business.”

The Ovenu valeting process involves dismantling key components of an oven such as the door, interior panels, fan and shelves and placing them into design-registered tank equipment, which uses safe, non-caustic products to clean the oven parts. The whole process takes around three to four hours and leaves the oven, hob and exterior in immaculate condition.
