Dental Fix RX Adds 40 New Franchises in 2016

Closing out another breakthrough year, Dental Fix RX is entering 2017 with significant momentum. The national mobile dental equipment repair service franchise signed 40 new franchise agreements in 2016, bringing its total footprint to more than 135 territories in operation and 50-plus under development throughout North America. Company executives expect to sign another 40 franchise agreements in 2017 and sell all U.S. territories within the next three years.

The fast-growing franchise is revolutionizing the dental service industry by delivering immediate, on-demand equipment service, hand-piece repairs and cost-effective consumable products through its network of highly-trained franchise professionals. Typically, dental practices have to wait weeks for repairs or are forced to buy new equipment. Dental Fix RX is the faster, more cost-effective solution – and, the dental industry knows it.

“This has been an impressive year for Dental Fix RX. We’ve gained significant attention in the dental industry through our reputation for faster repair solutions and high-level customer service. This has led to increased attention from prospective franchisees, who are discovering the ongoing need for Dental Fix’s repair services and the position we have in the marketplace,” said Scott Mortier, EVP of Business Development at Dental Fix RX, who also noted that the franchise has sold or opened a new unit each week for the past 40-plus months.

Over the past year, Dental Fix RX has developed key relationships for its franchisees with big players in the dental industry. In February, Darby Dental Supply, the nation’s largest all-telesales dental products distributor, became an equity partner in Dental Fix RX. Through this relationship, franchisees are able to offer Darby Dental Supply products to dental practices and also provide dental equipment service and repair to Darby Dental Supply customers. Additionally, in August, Dental Fix RX became the authorized repair vendor of Sage Dental, which has more than 40 practices throughout Florida. Through this partnership, the company’s network of highly-trained technicians are contracted to deliver its immediate, on-demand equipment service and hand-piece repairs to Sage Dental offices.

“We’re excited for the New Year. Our focus will be on developing more national partnerships with DSOs [Dental Service Organizations] and strengthening existing programs that drive value for our customers and growth for our franchise system,” said David Lopez, CEO and founder of Dental Fix RX. “The dental equipment repair sector is a $38 billion industry. There’s tremendous opportunity here for our brand and we have the right systems and programs in place to capture it.”
