Leading care company SureCare has announced four new franchisees.
The four new franchises cover the territories of Hillingdon, North Leeds, Rugby and North Warwickshire and Coventry and South Warwickshire.
They are the latest franchisees to join SureCare which is expanding rapidly across the UK.
The family owned business is led by Managing Director Gary Farrer, while son Josh is the company’s Franchise Recruitment Manager.
Josh said: “We are delighted to welcome on board four fantastic new franchisees. We believe we are the fastest growing care franchise business in the UK and we will be announcing further franchisees in the coming weeks.”
The new franchisees are:
Jagjit and Paramjeet Soni – SureCare Hillingdon
Jagjit Soni and his wife Paramjeet have a long history of owning and managing successful businesses in the UK and overseas.
The couple have run a Hungarian import business supplying clothing to the supermarkets including Tesco for over 20 years. After falling in love with the Kentucky countryside they also owned and ran a well-respected hotel there for five years.
Jagjit said: “Care is a vocational job and we chose this franchise because of its commitment to quality care.
“We want to work with older people to help to keep them independent and in the homes that they love for as long as possible.
“We are also investing in the area and are aiming to create at least 35 new jobs over the next 12 months. Our ambition is to grow a £450,000 business within a year.”
Manjinder and Karun Heer- SureCare North Leeds
When Nottingham Trent University graduate Karun wanted to set up his own care business he knew where to turn to for his business partner….his dad.
Former bus driver and retailer Manjinder, 45, jumped at the chance to work with his son.
The pair have just opened SureCare North Leeds and plan to expand into Harrogate next year.
Karun, 21, who has just completed a Business Management & Marketing degree said: “I’ve always wanted to run my own business and love the idea of setting one up with my dad.
“I started off running a DJ business when I was 15 and my student pals always teased me for my work ethic and energy. While they were out partying I was the one always working.”
They are currently looking to recruit a care manager, team leader and care workers who share their determination to offer a high standard of care.
“I come from a very family orientated background which is what is going to make our care offering a bit different. My dad and I are passionate about what we do, about improving people’s lives and about running the best possible care service we can,” added Karun.
Michelle Sparks – Surecare Rugby & North Warwickshire
Caring has been a strong part of Michelle Sparkes’ life. She has looked after her 19 year old son Adam since he was born prematurely with cerebral palsy quadriplegia.
After seeing her son receive various standards of care over the years from different providers, she felt her son deserved better and decided to turn what she has learnt into a business and become a SureCare franchisee.
In September Michelle, 53, will open the Surecare Rugby & North Warwickshire franchise and has plans to grow it to 30-50 carers over the next 18 months and to offer 800-1,000 hours of care a week.
She says: “I’ve worked in the automotive industry for many years as a business development manager.
“After a successful career delivering excellent service, building and retaining long lasting customer relationships, I decided to turn my skills into the care sector, as it is so close to my heart. I explored the options and decided to go with a franchise provider.
“I was drawn to SureCare after being impressed with the diversity of services on offer – from childcare and elderly care to looking after people with disabilities. It’s a modern and progressive agency with the same passion and drive as me.
“Looking after my son has given me the motivation to create a business that delivers the standard of care you would want – and expect – for your loved ones.”
Tervinder Bhangal – SureCare Coventry & South Warwickshire
Former social worker and IT consultant Tervinder Bhangal is opening a new SureCare franchise covering Coventry and South Warwickshire this month.
The franchise will boost employment in the local area with employment opportunities available for up to 30 staff within the next 12-18 months.
Tervinder said: “I want to be the most successful, premier care agency in Coventry and South Warwickshire.
“My aim is to be known for providing high quality vetted staff to meet the care needs of both adults and children across all age groups. An emphasis will be placed on quality supervision, training and mentoring to ensure the quality of the service remains consistent and safe.
“The success of the business will be based upon ensuring that the business provides a safe outcome focused service to the most vulnerable group of people in our society.”
Previous to starting a SureCare franchise, Tervinder, 42, and her husband Jarnail ran an IT consultancy for over 10 years. She has also worked as a social worker and successfully started and developed the Birmingham social work recruitment branch for a national recruitment firm.
