Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection has today announced that it will exhibit at the Scottish Franchise Shows again this year. Card Connection, which currently has re-sale franchises available in Scotland, is looking forward to meeting and ‘greeting’ potential franchisees at the two shows which will be held on Friday 24 April at Hamilton Park Racecourse near Glasgow and Saturday 25 April at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre.
“The Scottish Franchise Shows have been described as a one-stop-franchise-shop for the general public as they each offer the chance to meet with representatives of more than 30 organisations, including Card Connection, in a relaxed and informative environment,” confirms Michael Johnson, managing director, Card Connection. “Our staff will be on-hand to talk through the Scottish franchise opportunities that we have at Card Connection and explain all about our award winning business model.
“At the shows, we will also be displaying a range of Card Connection’s quality greeting cards to give potential franchisees a real feel for the products we supply to retailers,” continues Johnson. “Entry and parking is free and so the shows are a must for anyone considering starting their own franchise business in Scotland!
“Owning a Card Connection franchise allows you to buy into an established company and a proven business idea,” explains Johnson. “Our franchisees enjoy the flexibility of being their own boss but with the knowledge and dedication of an established and highly successful organisation behind them. Card Connection franchisees have their own exclusive territory with an extensive customer base. We offer all franchisees immediate income and a portfolio of unique products. We currently have three, established, re-sale territories available in Scotland: Ayr/Kilmarnock and Edinburgh/Borders and Lanarkshire which represent an exciting chance to join the leading brand in the greeting card franchise sector.”
Card Connection franchisees supply greeting cards and accessories in retail outlets on a ‘consignment’ basis, also supplying the display equipment free on loan if appropriate, minimising the retailers’ costs and maximising their profits. This is one step beyond ‘sale or return’ as retail customers don’t have to buy the stock initially; they only pay for what they sell. Card Connection’s award winning merchandising service provided to retailers has proved popular all over the UK and Ireland.
Card Connection is one of the UK’s largest card publishers and is the market leader in the franchised distribution of greeting cards. The business’ unique model of consignment sales has resulted in a strong brand and established reputation which has been proven over many years. Through its franchisees Card Connection supplies about 12,000 retailers throughout the UK.
