Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept is extremely excited to announce major growth accomplishments in 2014, setting up 2015 to be the ‘Year of the Salad!’
Saladworks, opened 15 new restaurants in 2014 and expanded to new markets including Morgantown, West Virginia, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Greensboro, North Carolina, Seattle, Washington, Rochester, NY, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bowling Green, Kentucky and Franklin, Tennessee. To continue its successes in International expansion, Saladworks opened four new locations in Singapore, Dubai and Canada. The company also brought on new franchisees representing future locations. in both new and existing markets such as Rehoboth Beach, DE, Irving, TX, Scranton, PA and Kuwait.
Additionally, Saladworks upheld its limited-time only seasonal salad tradition with a spring and fall selection; ‘The SpringFit Salad’ debuted in the Spring, a blend of crisp romaine, iceberg, and spring mix lettuce, all natural chicken, egg whites, snow peas, shredded carrots, toasted almonds and fresh red grapes with lemon sesame vinaigrette dressing. In the Fall, fans raved over ‘The Farm Fresh Salad’, a mix of crisp field greens and baby kale, house roasted butternut squash, farm fresh turkey tenderloins, all natural feta cheese, and garden-fresh red grapes, crowned with candied walnuts and topped with housemade Apple Cider Vinaigrette dressing.
In 2015, Saladworks expects to open 17 new restaurants both nationally and internationally. The first locations in 2015 include openings in Grand Rapids, MI. Boston, MA, Doha, Qatar and Richmond, VA.
Saladworks took part in its largest fundraising event to date, being the finish line sponsor for the Susan G. Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure®, taking place on Mother’s Day, 2014 in Center City Philadelphia. Saladworks’ sponsorship was a key element to ensure the success of the massive race, which requires dozens of sponsors at all levels to fund the event. The Race has raised an average of $3.2 million to support breast cancer education, awareness, early detection, treatment and survivor support programs in Komen Philadelphia’s service area, as well as research
